Since 2002, AIFF Kids has offered unique programming for schools, youth organizations, communities, and families across Atlantic Canada. Formerly known as ViewFinders, the AIFF Kids mission is: to present curated movies and shorts exploring vast emotional journeys that engage, entertain and inspire Atlantic Canadians.

The AIFF Kids School Tour offers FREE daytime film screenings, in both English and French, and hands-on workshops for school groups across Nova Scotia, Canada.

Each year, the AIFF Kids School Tour program presents the best in regional, national and international films for youth, tackling issues from multiculturalism and community to sustainability and creativity. Through engagement with short and feature films, as well as through workshops with professional working filmmakers and artists, AIFF engages students on curriculum-based subjects through the critical appreciation of film.

AIFF Kids is the first step in a life full of experiencing and celebrating the art of film and filmmaking.

New this edition, the AIFF Kids School Tour will take place in Spring 2024. The Tour will include stops at Cineplex Entertainment venues in the following locations:

Bridgewater, Nova Scotia
Dartmouth, Nova Scotia
Yarmouth, Nova Scotia
