The DEO.TV Film Festival is a celebration of young filmmakers seeking to promote truth in film through creativity and story telling. As our mission statement says, Lumindeo.org is a network created by and for passionate followers of Jesus Christ to enjoy, share, and experience truth and inspiration through films that bless us, our families, and our communities. We believe film is one of the most powerful forms of communication and our heart behind the DEO.TV Film Festival is to see more and more young people use this medium to share light with the world. DEO.TV is now providing online filmmaking classes to encourage young people to get out there and start telling stories.

Award Trophies will be provided to films in the following categories: Best Overall, Best Score Overall, Best in each category, Best Director in each category. In relevant categories, Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Supporting Actor, Best Supporting Actress, Best Writer. People's Choice Best overall in each category.

There will be Awards in each Category in each of the following age groups:

Group 1- Ages 11-17
Group 2- Ages 18-22
Group 3- Ages 23-29

The DEO.TV Film Festival is about celebrating young filmmakers so all entrants must be between the ages of 11 and 29 years old with awards for both undergraduate level and high school level. Participants of any age may vote for the audience awards.

The DEO.TV Film Festival is a family event, therefore, all entries are subject to review by Lumindeo Studios team members. Your film idea will not be approved and eligible for voting if the text or images in your submission include: Graphic, offensive, or explicit content. Topical material unsuitable for family viewing. Incomplete ideas or storyline. Images that do not meet the minimum resolution requirements.

The festival Sponsor is : Lumindeo Studio, a 501c3 non-profit organization located at 1300 West Randol Mill Rd Suite 110 Arlington TX. 76012

Employees of Lumindeo Studio, their family members, or anyone else connected in any way to the competition shall not be permitted as entrants.

The submission fee is $15.

Closing date for contest submissions will be August 27th, 2017. No submissions to the competition will be permitted after this date.

Lumindeo Studio and DEO.TV accepts no responsibility for entries not received for whatever reason.

Lumindeo Studio reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition or its terms and conditions without notice in the event of an act of God or unexpected calamity, or any actual or anticipated breach of applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the sponsor's control. Lumindeo Studio will notify entrants as quickly as possible should the event be delayed or cancelled.

All films are required to be presented in HD resolution (1280 x 720 minimum).

Winners will be chosen by a panel of judges appointed by Lumindeo Studio and the People’s Choice Awards will be decided by popular vote conducted on DEO.TV

Lumindeo Studio and DEO.TV assume no responsibility for travel expenses related to the DEO.TV Film Festival awards ceremony.

Should an entrants film be accepted into the DEO.TV Film Festival, entrant will be required to allow Lumindeo Studio to display the film on DEO.TV for viewing and voting purposes. The film will be accessible free of charge to the public. DEO.TV will receive zero proceeds from entrants film.

Winners will be notified by email and/or letter within 14 days of the closing date. If the winner(s) cannot be contacted or do not claim their prize within 48 hours of notification, Lumindeo Studio reserves the right to withdraw the prize from the winner(s) and pick replacement winners.

Only the creator of a film is eligible to win should ownership of the film belong to a separate entity.

Decisions by Lumindeo Studio in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final.

Voting will be validated for every submission. Fake voting will result in immediate disqualification from the competition and a loss of all votes.

Voters will be required to have a valid email ID and a User ID on DEO.TV to vote. Voters may vote on multiple films but may only leave one vote per film.

By entering this competition, entrant is indicating his/her agreement to allow the final film to be covered, documented, and marketed by Lumindeo Studio and/or DEO.TV

The competition and these terms and conditions will be covered by Texas law and disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Tarrant County, Texas.

The winner agrees to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current U.S. data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.

All genres are accepted to this festival as long as they meet the requirements of the festival rules and regulations.

The DEO.TV film festival considers short films in various genres (40 minutes or less) and is held in Dallas/Fort Worth, TX. This emerging festival will be held each year in September.

Entry into the competition will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.
