It showcases an international programme of speakers, as well as award winning films and exhibitions, mainly held in the Bonar Hall, Dundee. We will also have a full supporting exhibition of art, photography, trade and voluntary organisations stands and displays. Come and enjoy this unforgettable opportunity to see, hear, and experience outstanding stories of courage, adventure, and exploration.
these again. We will be celebrating our 40th event in 2024.

No film competition - no prizes. Sorry. Please read the rules and terms. I am getting a lot of films that are just not relevant to our festival

Please - do not send films that are not relevant to mountaineering, exploration, Climbing, mountain sports or mountain culture. I just don't have time to watch them all.

A well-established, well-organised, and very friendly festival with inspiring talks and showcasing a brilliant range of adventure films from international prize winners and local up and coming filmmakers. Includes a day session great for kids and families.
