We are an IMDB qualifying film festival that has been featured in Variety, IMDB news just to name a few. This year we celebrate our 10th year our Cannes Program of Artisan Festival International World Peace Initiative & New Generation In Action (Special Consultative Status with ECOSOC to the United Nations) provides a unique opportunity to receive exposure, promotions, and exhibition for "films of purpose." We also celebrate year round global partnerships and initiatives.
A.F.I. World Peace Initiative Cannes celebrates it's 10th year. The overall goal is to promote compelling “films of purpose," and help the life of the films. Success stories includes, Two time Oscar winner Barry Alexander Brown's "Son of The South" Executive Produced by Oscar winner Spike Lee, "Living In the Future's Past," starring Jeff Bridges, "From Above" starring Danny Glover and Graham Greene, and a partnership with Filmfestivals.com.
Films that are a priority but not limited too are: social justice, environmental, wildlife/conservation, world peace, and family dramas. We also recognize that there are films which are outside these categories which are still masterfully produced and can be included in our program as well.

If you are excepted to receive an award you must be present for the program at Festival de Cannes in addition to purchase tickets for our Royal World Peace & Tolerance Gala, and Royal World Peace and Tolerance Forum Day.
All films will accepted or submitted (may) at the discretation of the AFI/WPI Festival Committee participate in international outreach programs and or partnership. Also Official Selections may be made available for on-line hybrid virtual events in our year round programming.
