We are an IMDB qualifying film festival that has been featured in Variety, IMDB news just to name a few. This year we celebrate our 10th year our Cannes Program of Artisan Festival International World Peace Initiative & New Generation In Action (Special Consultative Status with ECOSOC to the United Nations) provides a unique opportunity to receive exposure, promotions, and exhibition for "films of purpose." We also celebrate year round global partnerships and initiatives.

A.F.I. World Peace Initiative Cannes celebrates it's 10th year. The overall goal is to promote compelling “films of purpose," and help the life of the films. Success stories includes, Two time Oscar winner Barry Alexander Brown's "Son of The South" Executive Produced by Oscar winner Spike Lee, "Living In the Future's Past," starring Jeff Bridges, "From Above" starring Danny Glover and Graham Greene, and a partnership with Filmfestivals.com.

Films that are a priority but not limited too are: social justice, environmental, wildlife/conservation, world peace, and family dramas. We also recognize that there are films which are outside these categories which are still masterfully produced and can be included in our program as well.

Please note that we are not affiliated with the Cannes Film Festival in any way, shape or form. Our organization hosts events during the Cannes Film Festival to work in conjunction with the influx of film industry professionals which congregate in Cannes during this time of year. We are in no way responsible or have any authority over your garnering a Cannes Film Festival accreditation badge, which must be paid for by you (if you wish to enter area's run by the CFF) and is not covered in this package. If you are excepted to receive an award you must be present for the program at Festival de Cannes in addition to purchase tickets for our Royal World Peace & Tolerance Gala, and Royal World Peace and Tolerance Forum Day.

All films will accepted or submitted (may) at the discretation of the AFI/WPI Festival Committee participate in international outreach programs and or partnership. Also Official Selections may be made available for on-line hybrid virtual events in our year round programming.

Films must be complete and be willing to participate in an on-line platform.

ELIGIBILITY
To be eligible for consideration:

Entrants must fully comply with these Entry Rules & Regulations, including all deadlines, film length, entry material and other requirements.
Non-English language works must have English subtitles at the time submitted. Dialogue lists will not be accepted.

ENTRY MATERIALS*
All entries must include the following:

On-line screeners only. The Festival reserves the right to disqualify any submission, without refund of any kind, which does not arrive at the shipping destination within the deadline window selected by Entrant. ALL FILES if selected must be sent digital.

*Entry materials will not be returned

If your work is selected, you must fulfill the following requirements by the date(s) designated by the Organization: You must execute a release agreement wherein you (i) accept responsibility for obtaining any and all clearances necessary to exhibit your film at Artisan Festival International World Peace Initiative ; (ii) warrant that you have the rights necessary to exhibit your film; and (iii) indemnify and hold harmless Artisan Festival International World Peace Initiative , its parent company, its affiliates, and subsidiaries and any of their respective directors, officers, employees, and representatives against any claim arising out of exhibition of your film at AFI World Peace Initiative. You must deliver to the address(es) designated by the Festival (i) two exhibition copies of the invited work; All exhibition copies must be delivered in the manner our Production team advises. This includes BluRay, or HD Cam or digital file (.Mov)

You must provide a properly completed and signed official Artisan Festival International World Peace Initiative “Film Information Form” including all press and publication assets as specified in the “Materials Checklist”.

FESTIVAL SECTIONS*
Works invited to participate will be shown in the section determined most appropriate by programmers, in their sole discretion and are made available through on-line streaming platforms and for future streaming applicable by AFI World Peace Initiative.

No film will be selected unless the filmmaker agrees to participate in the on-line screening platforms.
