FESTIVAL INTERNAZIONALE DEL CINEMA DI SALERNO

The Festival's Film Competitions are divided into various sections, namely:
1) Feature Films Section
2) Short film section
4) Medium-length feature films
3) Television Fiction Section
4) Film Dossier Section
5) Cartoons section
6) Commercials, Video clips and Smartphone films section
7) “VIDESCUOLA” competition reserved for films made by students of schools of all levels.
8) “DISCOVERY CAMPANIA” section. This section includes films (both documentaries and fiction) which aim to enhance places of social, cultural and tourist interest in the Campania Region
9) Section “THE LANGUAGE OF THE SEA/THE SEA TELLS” aimed at works (feature films, short films or documentaries) which have THE SEA as their main setting.
10) Competition: “Cinema for a book - a book for Cinema”
11) Documentary Competition with the various sections of specialized cinemas:

• Medical surgical
• Religious
• Scientific
• Social

MOVIE DETAILS
• Feature films must have a minimum duration of 60'
• Medium-length feature films must be longer than 30m' and less than 60'
• Subject-based short films must have a maximum duration of 30'
• Animated Films have no duration limits
• Documentaries must have a maximum duration of 60m'

Works in foreign languages ​​must be accompanied by subtitles in SRT format, in Italian and English.
Works created before January 1, 2022 are not eligible for selection.
For each film you will have to pay a registration fee of €25.00 as a contribution to secretarial costs. Films are absolutely not admitted without payment of the registration fee.

SENDING FILM AND ADMISSION TO COMPETITIONS
The films must be uploaded ONLINE already in the final version for possible projections in HD or 4k format (H264 codec, .mov or .mp4, bitrade 20Mbps) and not exceeding 10 GB;
If you enter your name and password to download the work, the link must remain active until the end of the Festival, i.e. until 30 November 2024).
The publication of the film in the catalogue/program of the event which will be distributed online on the Festival website and on various social networks, is valid as official communication of admission of the work to the Festival Competitions.
Participants must inform themselves before the start of the event about the admission of the films to the Competitions and the date of the screening.
Once the registration form and a copy of the film have been sent, the participant is considered entered into the competitions and withdrawal by the participant is not permitted.

GENERAL DISPOSITION
1) In the event of an incomplete registration request, admission to the Competition is decided at the sole discretion of the artistic direction of the Festival.
2) Each participant can present multiple works. The registration fee must be paid for each film.
3) All films entered will be part of the Salerno International Film Festival archive and may be used for cultural, educational purposes, etc. for public and/or television screenings. Commercial use is excluded.
4) The winners will be notified by the Festival organization via e-mail or telephone.
5) Participation in the competition implies unconditional acceptance of these regulations.
6) This regulation is drawn up in Italian and English. In the event of an interpretative conflict, the Italian version prevails.
8) The definitive program of the event, containing the works admitted to the Competition, can be consulted before the start of the Event on the website: http://www.festivaldelcinema.it/
9) For anything not provided for in these regulations, the Festival Management reserves the right to make decisions at its sole discretion.
10) In the event of disputes or disputes, the Court of Salerno will be competent and will decide based on the Italian text of this regulation.

I Concorsi Cinematografici del Festival sono suddivisi in varie sezioni e precisamente:
1) Sezione Lungometraggi a soggetto
2) Sezione Cortometraggi a soggetto
4) Mediometraggi a soggetto
3) Sezione Fiction Televisiva
4) Sezione Film Dossier
5) Sezione Cartoons
6) Sezione Spot pubblicitari, Videoclip e Smartphone film
7) Concorso “VIDESCUOLA’ riservato ai filmati realizzati dagli studenti delle Scuole di ogni ordine e grado.
8) Sezione “DISCOVERY CAMPANIA”. A questa sezione partecipano filmati (sia documentari che fiction) che hanno lo scopo di valorizzare luoghi di interesse sociale, culturale e turistico della Regione Campania
9) Sezione “IL LINGUAGGIO DEL MARE/IL MARE RACCONTA” rivolta ad opere (lungometraggi, cortometraggi o documentari) che hanno come principale ambientazione IL MARE.
10) Concorso: “Il Cinema per un libro - un libro per il Cinema”
11) Concorso Documentari con le varie Sezioni delle Cinematografie specializzate:
• Sperimentale
• Sportiva
• Turistica
• Video-subacquea
• Didattica
• Industriale
• Informativa
• Medico chirurgica
• Religiosa
• Scientifica
• Sociale

DETTAGLI DEI FILM
• I Lungometraggi a soggetto devono avere una durata minima di 60’
• I Mediometraggi a soggetto devono essere superiori a 30m’ ed inferiore a 60’
• I Cortometraggi a soggetto devono avere una durata massima di 30’
• I Film di Animazione non hanno limiti di durata
• I Documentari devono avere una durata massima di 60m’

Le Opere in lingua straniera devono essere corredati da sottotitoli in formato SRT, in italiano e in inglese.
Non sono ammesse alla selezione le opere realizzate prima del 1 gennaio 2022.
Per ogni film si dovrà versare una quota di iscrizione di € 25,00 quale contributo alle spese di segreteria. Non sono ammessi assolutamente i film senza il versamento della quota d’iscrizione.

INVIO FILM ED AMMISSIONE AI CONCORSI
I film devono essere caricati ON-LINE già in versione definitiva per l’eventuale proiezioni nel formato HD o 4k (codec H264, .mov o .mp4, bitrade 20Mbps) e non superiore a 10 gb;
In caso di inserimento nome e password per il download dell’opera, il link deve restare attivo fino alla fine del Festival e cioè fino al 30 novembre 2024).
La pubblicazione del film nel catalogo/programma della manifestazione che sarà diffuso online sul sito del Festival e sui vari social, vale come comunicazione ufficiale di ammissione dell’opera ai Concorsi del Festival.
I partecipanti dovranno informarsi prima dell’inizio della manifestazione sull’ammissione dei film ai Concorsi e sulla data della proiezione.
Inviata la scheda di iscrizione e la copia del film lo stesso si intende iscritto ai concorsi e non è ammesso il ritiro da parte del partecipante.

DISPOSIZIONI GENERALI
1) In caso di richiesta incompleta d’iscrizione, l’ammissione al Concorso è decisa a insindacabile giudizio della direzione artistica del Festival.
2) Ogni partecipante può presentare più opere. La quota d’iscrizione deve essere versata per ogni film.
3) Tutti i film iscritti faranno parte dell’archivio Festival Internazionale del Cinema di Salerno e potranno essere utilizzate per fini culturali, didattici, ecc. per proiezioni pubbliche e/o televisive. E’ escluso l’utilizzo commerciale.
4) I Premiati saranno avvisati dall’organizzazione del Festival tramite e-mail o telefono.
5) La partecipazione al concorso implica l’accettazione incondizionata del presente regolamento.
6) Il presente regolamento è redatto in italiano e in inglese. In caso di contrasto interpretativo, fa fede la versione italiana.
