WILLiFEST spotlights independent filmmakers from around the world. We encourage you to submit your work and join us in New York City for a professional, fun-filled festival of screenings, networking opportunities, industry panels and more.
ABOUT THE FESTIVAL
The Williamsburg International Film Festival, voted top 10 coolest film festival by MovieMaker Magazine, was established to provide a platform for the creative visions of today's emerging artists of all disciplines. The film festival is an opportunity for filmmakers to enhance their careers by exposing their projects to a powerful audience, gaining crucial media exposure and strengthening industry relationships.
In addition to premieres, the festival features film selections from a multitude of categories. Screenplay, Commercial and Soundtrack competitions round out the offerings.
Many of the films screened at WILLiFEST have gone on to have theatrical releases, broadcasts on PBS and other media outlets, and to be nominated and awarded at the American Academy Awards.
At WILLiFEST, we pride ourselves on elevating the filmmaker's experience. This festival was created for the artist, by artists, and we look forward to helping in taking your film or screenplay to the next level.
Awards & Prizes
All accepted filmmakers and competition winners are provided with full festival passes for entry into every screening, panel, opening night party and networking event. The winners of any of the competitions are awarded certificates and will be featured on our website's Awards page.
