Treehouse started as a small monthly pop-up event, featuring artists from all over Los Angeles. It quickly spread across the city, drawing hundreds of people every month. It grew to such an extent that Treehouse received a grant in 2016 to throw a full film & music festival. We brought together filmmakers, musical acts, and local vendors for one all-inclusive celebration of art. Now we're doing it again!

Rules & Terms

Submissions can be short films, music videos, feature films, documentaries, or experimental films of any length. Films longer than 2 hours have a smaller chance of acceptance.

There are no premiere status guidelines. Submitted films may have screened at other festivals, but must have been made and completed in the last 4 years.

Digital submissions through FilmFreeway only. No hard copy materials accepted.
