Identitaria International Film Festival is an event that promotes worldwide the territorial identity and enhance cultures and typicality through the photographic reportage and cinematic storytelling of food traditions and arts related to food and wine-growing as well as of the tailoring traditions and of the fashion industry. At the same time, the Festival aims to promote and enhance talented filmmakers and photographers to allow them a fruitful exchange of experiences, the direct comparison with the professionals of the sector and the expansion of skills, as well as of increasing the possibility of being known by a wider audience.

Rules & Terms

Film Contest Abstract of Rules & Terms
• The Film Contest is open to all producers/authors (companies, associations, schools and individuals) from all over the world.
Individuals, professional and non-professional, must be at least 18 years of age at the time of entry of their works. The works created by children can be entered by the person exercising parental authority.
They are accepted works about food and wine theme filmed in any format, belonging to every genre, without time-foreclosure, that celebrate the wine and / or food as distinctive elements of the identity of a region, its culture and its traditions.
The works not in Italian must be subtitled in Italian.
• The Film Contest includes the following sections:
• Food Films
Competitive section for international audiovisual works related to the world of food, typical food products, cuisine and gastronomy in general in any aspect (narrative, artistic, documentary, educational, scientific). Works not in Italian language must be subtitled in Italian.
• Wine Films
Competitive section for international audiovisual works related to the world of wine, the vineyard and the cellar in any aspect (narrative, artistic, documentary, educational, scientific). Works not in Italian language must be subtitled in Italian.
• Sea Films
Competitive section for international audiovisual works related to the sea and its products, fishermen and galley in any aspect (narrative, artistic, documentary, educational, scientific). Works not in Italian language must be subtitled in Italian.
• Animation Films
Competitive section for international animation works related to wine and food in any aspect (narrative, artistic, documentary, educational, scientific).
• Food&Wine Films about Apulia
Competitive section for international audiovisual works representing the italian region "Puglia" through the storytelling of its wine and food traditions. Works not in Italian language must be subtitled in Italian.
• Food&Wine Brand Spots
Competitive section open to advertising agencies or youtuber/blogger for international audiovisual works, in the spot format of maximum length of 60'', that advertise the brand of a company of the Food & Wine industry.
• Best Fashion Film Award
Competitive section for international audiovisual short works, of maximum length of 30', works that promote traditional tailoring and fashion through the cinematic storytelling.
• Fashion Brand Spots
Competitive section open to advertising agencies or youtuber/blogger for international audiovisual works, in the spot format of maximum length of 60'', that advertise the brand of a company of the Fashion industry.
• All films must have been completed after January 1st, 2014. The Festival excludes from participation works that have already been screened in any way in Italy, as well as works that have participated at Italian or international film festivals. The exclusion does not apply to works presented in "Food&Wine Brand Spots" and "Fashion Brand Spots".
• Any producer/author may enter more than one film. Each entry must be submitted as a separate entry.
• The works must be uploaded on FILMFREEWAY platform no later than 30 June 2017. It will not be considered works without the data required in the registration form or contact informations. All works submitted to the selection are implicitly and free of charge considered authorized at the screening during the festival.
• By submitting his/her film entry to this Contest, each Entrant:
• Claims and warrants to be entitled to all rights to the Entry and any of its
components;
• Ensures that the contents of the same are freely available and do not violate the laws,
regulations or rights of third parties, in particular the regulations governing the
copyright and image rights;
• Ensures and declares that the work does not contain defamation of any kind;
• Ensures that all music licences (including, without limitation, all syn-chronization,
mechanical and master-use licences, as applicable) have been obtained and all
payments have been made that are required for the public performance of the music
incorporated in the film.
In any case the Entrant releases the Identitaria Food&Wine Festival Organization and the FoodEst Social Club from all losses, damages, liabilities, costs, charges and expenses of any kind which may be incurred as a result of the contents of the Entry and its public screening.
• Participation in the Festival implies full acceptance of the Rules&Terms (that can be found on the website www.identitaria.it).
In the event of a dispute concerning the interpretation or application of this Rules&Terms the Italian language shall prevail.
In case of dispute, the competent court is the Tribunal of Lecce.
