In Women Texas Film Festival’s three-day August event, we showcase the range and depth of female driven visual stories. Established and emerging female filmmakers will show that girls aren’t just made of sugar and spice. They got some grit and gasoline, too.

WTxFF screens qualified films that have women in at least one key creative role: Writer, Producer, Director, Cinematographer, Editor, Composer.

The festival also hosts virtual reality, Q&As with filmmakers, panel discussions, exclusive parties, and a gala night with filmmaker red carpet.

WTxFF was incredibly on the ball. The fact that this was the festival's first year is astonishing. It was slick, well organized, and carefully curated.

Our crew and cast had a blast! Justina Walford did an excellent job putting this festival together. They even had a karaoke wrap party. Big shout-out to the volunteers and Texas Theatre staff. They were amazing.

We couldn't have asked for a better reception and welcoming community of film lovers. They set up interviews, got press for the festival and the films themselves, and promoted us from the rooftops. They also put a lot of effort into planning events, panels, parties, etc. for the festival run. Our film, 42 Seconds of Happiness, was honored to be a part of the inaugural year and we hope to come back for years to come. I definitely recommend films submit and attend this festival and get to know Justina and John.
