A film festival run by filmmakers for filmmakers and movie fans in one of the most beautiful parts of Ireland, Wexford Town.

Now entering our 3rd year, the Wexford Film Festival invites submissions from filmmakers all over the world and in every genre. We're all about story and visual storytelling, our festival will select the films that tell the best stories and connect with the audience the best.

We'll be hosting several panels and workshops for filmmakers and we hope to have world class writers and directors in attendance. Directors of all films selected will be invited to participate in a Q&A after their screening and to be on a number of panels during the festival weekend.

Ireland is a great place to not just make films but to party after a festival and we will be hosting a number of festival parties like our opening night party and our awards night shindig.

Come along to one of the most beautiful parts of Ireland, where Saving Private Ryan and Brooklyn were filmed and don't forget to bring your movie with you!

Brilliant people. Lovely venue. Was there for the final night (Sunday) so I can only speak for my experience on that night. I thought the programming was excellent. I know it will get even better (i.e. attract bigger attendance and greater networking opportunities) with time and momentum. Congrats and I look forward to next year.

Thanks so much for the wonderful opportunity to screen in Wexford. Unfortunately I wasn't able to make the trip across the pond, but the feedback I received from festival goers was fantastic! Looking forward to working together again!

I wasn’t able to attend, but my short film was part of the 2017 program. I have nothing but positive things to say about this festival. Communication with the festival director, Dave McGlone, was excellent. He did a great job promoting the festival on social media, especially on the days leading up to and during the festival. Although I didn’t attend, I appreciated the photos that were shared on social media, especially several shots of my film on the big screen. It made my participation feel real even though I was thousands of miles away. I would highly recommend this festival and would gladly submit another film in the future.

Communication with the festival organiser was very fast and clear. We were delighted that our lead actor won Best Actor at the festival.
