Viva! Latino Film Festival NYC Int'l is starting the process for late fall 2018. The festival will showcase emerging and established filmmakers from the U.S., Mexico, the Caribbean, and Latin America. We'll have industry representatives, panel discussions, workshops, and more. Viva! Film Festival NYC is looking forward to meeting you and thanks for being part of this event.

Festival programmers will select films to be shown.
Completion Requirement: Must have been completed after January 1, 2016.
Feature Run: Time minimum 75 minutes
Shorts Run:Time 40 minutes max including credits
Spanish language must be subtitled in English
Notification of Selection October 2018
No premiere requirement
Acceptance Requirement: ALL Media must have at least one Latino character as a leads or supporting role.

Films which has been screened publicly in the NYC area are opened for submission
Press kit Requirement: A press kit is requested but not required, please include Bio-Film Credits, Director, Production Stills, etc.
Projects may originate from anywhere

Filmmakers will be solely responsible for delivering their exhibition video materials to and from the festival venue .
Viva Latino film festival cannot be held liable for your exhibition print/video materials which are lost or damaged during shipping.

Right To Enter:
Entrants warrant that they have the legal right to enter film work to the Viva Latino Film Festival. As the Director/Producer of the Film, entrants represent and warrant to the Festival that the Film and all parts thereof are original; that the Film does not contravene the rights of any person or entity and that entrants own or control the Film and all parts thereof and have the sole authority to submit the Film to the Festival; the Film entrants submitted to the Festival is not subject to nor threatened by any litigation. Entrants acknowledge that no fiduciary or confidential relationship now exists between the Festival and entrants, and entrants further acknowledge that no such relationship is established by these guidelines, my submission of the Film, or by the Festival’s acceptance, review or retention of the Film. VLFFI reserves the right to change, omit or modify any part of the VLFFI website, including prizes, awards, change of venue and times of viewing.
