We love films. And we love sandwiches.

Making films is a lot like making sandwiches. And when all the right ingredients come together, the result is delicious.

The Twin Falls SANDWICHES Film Festival was created by filmmakers to celebrate independent filmmaking and showcase unique films.

Our inaugural event was a tremendous success with 13 filmmakers (and cast and crew) in attendance. Over $1750 in cash and prizes were awarded, and guests enjoyed treats and goodies from our generous sponsors including Twin Falls Sandwich Company, Glanbia Nutritionals, CLIF bars and Twin Beans Coffee. Screenwriters also participated in a table reading of excerpts from six scripts by local actors.

The 2 day festival is held in the historic Orpheum Theatre in Twin Falls, ID, nestled in the Magic Valley. Twin Falls is surrounded by majestic mountains, water falls, and the Snake River. Guests enjoyed the beautiful fall weather and took advantage of the outdoor activities available within a short drive.

Come join us for film, fellowship and sandwiches.

We attended this festival in its first year and it was hard to believe that it was the first time these folks had done this! The communication before the festival was crisp and showed insight to the needs and concerns of filmmakers and screenwriters. The hospitality was warm and thorough, and the venue is a jewel of an old downtown theater. The scale of the event made it easy to connect with other filmmakers and screenwriters. The event is an a beautiful area of the country at a great time of year for a bit of sightseeing, and festival organizers go the extra mile to see that you enjoy their home ground. A terrific weekend seeing good films, encountering interesting screenplays, meeting colleagues and having a great time!

Thank you for including my play, "Hell on Neptune" in your fine festival. And I'm honored to add the Twin Falls SANDWICHES Film Festival to my resume. To date, this story has garnered sixty-one (61) awards worldwide. But none are more important than your great festival. Thank you so very much. Take care...
