REAL TRAILERS FOR FAKE FILMS

Do you get to the theater early to make sure you don’t miss any of the trailers? After watching a trailer, do you ever wonder if they just showed you the entire film? In the Trailer

Fest Film Festival, the Trailer IS the entire film. The Trailer Fest Film Festival highlights mock / fake trailers that have been written, conceived, and created as their own work of art- there is no full-length movie behind them.

The mission of the Trailer Fest Film Festival is to inspire creative film making by celebrating the artistry required to craft an effective movie trailer. The Trailer Fest Film Festival showcases mock / fake movie or television trailers that use superb storytelling and a 3-minute time limit to tell an effective story. Submissions may be humorous, scary, dramatic, ironic, iconic, artistic, or emotional as long as they are entertaining.

This festival is a hidden gem; so much so that I'm hesitant to spread the word. This festival was one of the most organized, friendly and entertaining festivals that I've attended. We had a great time, met some amazing people and really felt valued as filmmakers. We'd suggest everybody get on this and become our competition for years to come. Great work, guys!
