I adore dogs and this festival does too! Thanks for the honorable mention for "Snake", and spoiler alert, the python doesn't swallow the Pomeranian! My latest screenplay has doggos in it! I'll be back next year to try again.

Muttley Films is thrilled to announce that we were selected the winner at the Good Dog International Film Festival 2022.

Dodger would like to reassure all of his fans that he will remain largely unaffected by his new found fame and celebrity 😀

Thank you to all the organisers at the Good Dog International Film Festival.

  • I appreciate the recognition of Feature Film Screenplay (COOP).

It's great to see festivals/competitions with specific storyline themes, such as stories involving animals. Stories involving disabilities. Stories involving characters who overcome tremendous odds against them, etc..

Therefore, I highly recommend this competition for all screenwriters who are willing to share their (tails), involving humankind's best friend.

I look forward to submitting additional material in the future, including a potential follow-up story to Coop.

I was honored that my film "For the Love of a Dog" was selected as a finalist for this festival and exchanged a few messages with Any Slater, the festival director.
Unfortunately the festival did not take place as planned because of the pandemic. Otherwise I would definitely have attended.
