The Bearing Film Festival (The BFF) is held in Burlington, Washington at Skagit Event Center. The BFF features four short films judged by our community members and The Skagit Valley Roller Girls. Each event will be based on a specific theme allowing our audience to enjoy a variety of themes throughout the year.

Entries must be submitted via FilmFreeway's online screener option. Foreign language work must be dubbed or subtitled in English.

Entries should be no longer than 30 minutes, including credits, for this festival. If longer films are submitted they will not be approved and funds will not be refunded.

By submitting to the festival, you agree to allow your film to be screened at Skagit Event Center during the festival run, for which you are submitting, at no charge. You also agree to allow Skagit Event Center and/or The Bearing Film Festival to use parts of your film for promotional use of the festival. If there are to be any additional screenings, we will come to a mutual agreement between the filmmaker and the festival.

By submitting to the festival you are admitting copyright ownership of everything submitted. The festival reserves the right to disqualify any submission at any time, if there is any question of ownership, copyright infringement or any sign of disrespect (in any form of media) to the festival or its representatives.
