2017 [S]3 Youth Film Contest Now Open!

The prompt for this year's contest is simple and inspired by the line:

"That's why I know it's true."

Student filmmakers may use this line as dialogue, theme or to explore the concept of "truth" in any format, category or genre.

Selected shorts will be shown during the 20th Anniversary of SCAD's Savannah Film Festival October 28 - November 4, 2017 in beautiful Savannah, Georgia.

[S]3 StudentSuperShorts.com is open to elementary and secondary students 18-years-old and under. Winners will be selected in two categories: 13 and under and 14 and above.

The [S]3 StudentSuperShorts.com film contest challenges our prolific and talented young people to tell stories in their native digital language, in their ever-increasing digital world.

Recognizing the shared human desire to be heard, seen and validated - our film contest provides a productive and safe way for young people across the globe to share their stories.

Helping young people focus their words and images into compelling stories, promotes strong, resilient people—which makes the world a better place.

Cash prizes, bragging rights and being just fabulous.
