Screen. Dance. Now. is a one-day festival that showcases feature films, screendance shorts, artists talks, and workshops. The Screendance Shorts Series features work by cutting-edge dance filmmakers who are pushing the envelope of the genre. We define "screendance" as a version or style of media at the intersections of film and dance. This can be video dance, dance for camera, music video that contains mostly dance, dance short, or more. Time limit for all content is 12 minutes.

Screen. Dance. Now. is co-directed and produced by Joanna McNamara of JMC/PRODUCTIONS, and Marcus White/White Werx - a Detroit-based performance production company that has received national recognition for dance film programming and curation in the area of dance film.

Projects submitted to Screen. Dance. Now. must be made within five years prior to the festival for which they are entered. By submitting projects to the festival, artists agree all content is from their project and may be used for marketing and promotions and that Screen. Dance. Now. assumes all music and visual permissions and rights for projects submitted. Screen. Dance. Now. is not responsible for ascertaining any permissions or rights for material. All artists agree to pay the submission fee, which is non-refundable.

Very nice team, very clear and good communication. I couldn't attend, so unfortunately I can't tell more than what I've experienced through the team contacting me. I wish the team and the festival all the best. Thanks for considering us.
