11th Rosarito International Film Festival, Baja California, Mexico, just 150 miles from Hollywood, it is the city with the fastest growing movie business on the planet, where they filmed blockbusters like "Titanic", "Master and Commander", "Quantum of Solace" (James Bond), "Babel", "Pearl Harbor" "007, Tomorrow never dies", and so many others impossible to list. 20 minutes from Rosarito is Tijuana with different academic centers for film study, including the renowned Film School of the UDCI (“University of Las Californias International” by its acronyms in Spanish).

The 10th Rosarito International Film Festival, will be carry out September 10 2021, This year there will not be an event with screenings and we will only inform the awards via email

Independent films that were made after 2019 will be awarded in this opportunity. In the storyline, documentary and short film areas. Also will be awarded prizes for best actor and actress, best photography, best story, and best edition. LOGCINEMA is a company located and registered in Los Angeles, California.

Best film, documentary and short around the world and Mexico. Also best actorm actress, editor, photography, art, script and assorted jury epecial. The prize will be a laurel by emai.

Rules & Terms

Only for films made after 2012 All material English subtitles. Very welcome spanish subtitles. Student must demonstrate that the film is a school project. All material must be submited in digital version to FilmFreeway.

    Rosarito is important for a number of reasons when a student such as myself submits his first work, in this case a documentary. Since I had bilingual (Spanish-English) content, needed full ADA compliance for sub-titles and closed-captions, and worked with a wonder technical director who works in both Tijuana and San Diego, the Baja venue was rewarding. We have family members with several generations of educational and business careers further south, in San Jose del Cabo, and just being considered for nomination was a deep honor. Continue the excellent work, fair submission prices, and encouragement for creative artists of all communities and age.
