PUSH! spotlights films that provoke thought and spur action. We're a change agent - challenging filmmakers and filmgoers to push boundaries and push the envelope-- to move and be moved through cinema.

We pride ourselves on being a filmmaker's film festival. We especially want filmmakers who attend the festival to feel like welcomed guests. All filmmakers participating at Push will receive VIP passes to the entire 3 day festival, including all film screenings, panels, workshops, and parties. There are also special networking social events exclusively for filmmakers in attendance. Filmmakers may also request 2 complimentary tickets that can be used for any screening that they may share with their crew, cast, family, etc.

We believe in empowering filmmakers by giving them a platform to share thoughtful ideas through any genre.

The Push! Film Festival wants to encourage and cultivate the next generation of filmmakers. As such, any student or educator may submit at a discounted rate. Upload a copy of your student/faculty ID to your film submission page to receive the discounted entry.

Sure, there are awards to be won, but we also put a lot of focus on the overall festival experience.

To us, it's about community, conversation, and calls-to-action.

It's also about showcasing quality storytelling in desirable venues and providing filmmakers with a chance to network and grow through a variety of workshops, Q&A sessions, and social events.

Hosted in twin cities that know no borders, PUSH! provides the platform. You provide the perspectives.

The PUSH Film Festival is off to a great start. It's a great venue for meeting other filmmakers and getting to see your work on the big screen. The town is welcoming and just the right environment for the arts.
