Our Town Denton: A Visual History is an open call for all amateur and home videos that depict the people and places of Denton, Texas during the calendar year 2016. Did you record an event that occurred in the City of Denton? Preference is for community events, but we would love to see your sports events, birthdays, or any other memorable event that took place in our community.

A group of films will be selected to represent Denton in the year 2016 and will be screened at the 2017 Thin Line Fest held April 19-23, 2017.

Rules & Terms

Thin Line Fest reserves the right to disqualify a submission, if eligibility requirements are not met or if eligibility status changes.

-All entrants will be notified by e-mail or phone of their submission status no later than March 3, 2017.
-Multiple entries are allowed.
-Submission materials will not be returned.

If You Are Selected

-You must authorize Thin Line Fest to exhibit your selected work during the 2017 festival.
-You must authorize Thin Line Fest to use your selected work for festival promotion purposes.
-You must deliver to the festival (i) one exhibition copy of the invited film [Exhibition copy must be a digital file format (h.264 @ 25Mbps or Apple ProRes)]; and (ii) any marketing or press materials.
-All filmmakers are encouraged to attend their screening.
