A class act for such a young festival. Excellent hospitality and well presented. Issues were quickly resolved and volunteers were at your service. As a filmmaker I was pleasantly surprised at the caliber and high quality of films screened. The workshops were good and complimented the festival well. I would like to have seen a component that offered filmmakers an organized networking session. Overall, I was satisfied.

I worked on several films that screened over the course of the festival, so I basically spent the whole weekend there, and there was never a moment where I found myself waiting or bored (as can be the case with festivals). There were screenings, workshops, filmmaker panels, art vendors, and the virtual reality demo was really fun. Downtown Benicia is less than 5 minutes away, right on the bay with lots of great food options (they also had good food trucks, if you don't want to miss out on anything). And, of course, the films they selected were fantastic, and lots of great opportunities to talk shop with other filmmakers!
    Suffice to say, highly recommended!
