The 10th Annual Nevada Women's Film Festival returns to fabulous Las Vegas June 19 - 23, 2024!

NWFFest is an annual event to celebrate and support the fair representation of women in film. We invite submissions from all genres, shorts and features, fiction, documentary and animation.

We are the only festival in the state of Nevada to showcase women directors and women in key creative positions. We also seek stories with strong and complex female characters or which otherwise depict women in a positive light.

We support a diversity of worldview, background, and experience. Filmmakers of all genders from all over the world are encouraged to submit to the festival.

Rules & Terms

Submissions are open until 11:59pm, March 15, 2024. But don't wait until then:

Early bird submission is $25 through October 31st, 2023!
Regular submission is $35 thru December 31st, 2023.
Late submission is $70 thru February 29th, 2024.
Extended late submission is $100 thru March 20th, 2024.
Notification date is April 1st, 2024

Our tech requirements are as follows:
Exhibition format: .mov/.mp4 is required per festival venue requirements.

Also, if accepted, the final submitted version of your film must include English Closed Captions (.SRT file) and Open Captions version (burned-in English subtitles [white font with a black background]).

    I just wanted to thank the Nevada Women's Film Festival for selecting our poignant comedic short "Millicent & Me and The Apple Tree" to the festival this last year! Thank you so much for such a wonderful festival, such a diversity of films, with such a fully attentive staff, & for being such very cool hosts! (I also appreciated the early-morning donuts!😁 ) But mostly, I'd like to thank the directors of this festival for being so patient & helpful with all of the extra info. we needed to get, support & all of our communications! (since I traveled in from elsewhere.) I also was reunited with some wonderful filmmaker friends, and actors in some of the other projects, so it was terrific seeing their films, & supporting their panel discussions as well! We were honored to be included in such a FAB lineup! So.. Thank you for all of your hard work!! I look forward to submitting our next projects in the future! Thanks again! Best, Heidi S. :-)!

    Gutted that we couldn’t attend because this festival is amazing. Communication throughout was perfect, so detailed and considerate; keeping filmmakers informed on every aspect of the festival. I feel that had we been able to make it over the pond, we would have been well looked after. Thank you so much Nevada team, it really was an honour to make selection with you 🥰
