Native Spirit Festival is the UK's only annual Independent Festival. We work to provide a platform for Indigenous filmmakers and artists, and those who facilitate and support Indigenous Peoples in telling their own stories.

Native Spirit Festival provides a platform for Indigenous Voices and celebrates Native cultures.
To be eligible for submission, an Indigenous person has to play a key role either behind or in front of the camera.
The connection with an Indigenous community has to be stated in the synopsis.
All media submitted to the Native Spirit Festival will be considered by the Festival’s Selection Committee. Films will be chosen on the basis that the values presented align with that of Native Spirit Foundation’s work. The Native Spirit Festival is a charitable project and therefore not a commercial festival. We encourage entrants to visit the Native Spirit Foundation website to understand our work before submitting media.
We welcome films in every genre and format, short, documentary, art, animation, and features.
All non-English language films must have English subtitles for final viewing.
Only films that meet this criteria will be considered.
Incomplete Submission Forms will not be processed.
