The 2nd annual Neu World Studios International Film Festival! Located in Cedar City Utah, Neu World Studios along with Historic Cedar Theater will host film submissions from around the world with categories and awards in: first time filmmakers, Cult Classic, local filmmakers, best short, best feature, comedy, drama, action, experimental, and more!!

Utah is known for great Shakespeare Festival, movies, filmmakers, locations, sites, and of course, Sundance, and many others. Now we want to put southern Utah on the map for great film making and makers around the world!

As the first year, we are going to start strong by only taking the top notch film submissions and making the prizes and awards prestigious and something to build on for years to come.

This is no ordinary film festival, this is one that will help bring in a 'new world' by helping filmmakers around the world hone their craft, and give it a proper venue it can show the world.
*** PLEASE do not email requests for free entries/film waivers, FOR ANY REASON. It is very disrespectful to the film making process and to the other film makers that put in the hard work and pay entry fees. If you cannot pay entry fees, please move on and look for festivals that are free. Thank you for respecting the Festival Process***

Awards & Prizes

**Only ONE film out of the entire festival will receive the coveted audience choice award. This is voted on by film festival attendees and covers any film screened at the festival whether short film/feature/animation ect!

Rules & Terms

Films submitted to the 2016 Neu World Studios International Film Festival must have been completed NO EARLIER than January 1st, 2012.

All films must have obtained all the rights in footage, music, and any other part of the filming process. Any breach of this will result in disqualification of the film and any penalties for misused rights will fall on the filmmaker and not on any of the film festival employees or volunteers.

All films must be original, and sent in the correct format and labeled clearly in order to be accepted into the festival.

By submitting your film you are allowing use to use any and all footage and names from the movie to be use in our festival information and promotions.

    Sorry you didn't seem to read or get the emails on our festival situation. We did indeed have a film festival, only the format changed to an on line event, which went very well with people all over the world responding. We had to change the event last minute because of some very greedy vendors, this of course was stated in your emails. Plus you got a free submission for next year. So yes you were selected, yes you got laurels, yes we had an international film festival, which more people were able to see than scheduled. so sorry you had a problem with all of that.
