The Montana International Children’s Film Festival provides Montana children and their families the opportunity to watch family films from all over the world. The festival's purpose is to bring international professors and students at the University of Montana together with Montana families to share their culture heritages, creating a festival where participants gain a sense of international awareness through mutual understanding and learning from one another.

The Theme of this Year's Festival is Dance and Movement!
We are looking for films or shorts that celebrate or promote dance or movement for kids of all ages. If you have a film like this please share it with us!

Our Festival Goals:
- To teach children to value their own culture and learn about other cultures.
- To expose children to different languages and cultures through film and other cultural activities.
- To bridge University of Montana and Montana State University international students with elementary and secondary school language teachers and their students.
- To provide economic and social support to language teachers and their students.

I have to say, unfortunately the communication was non-existent. I think my film didn't even get screened :/ (It's not on the list, at least.) I got an acceptance email from Film Freeway... but heard nothing from the festival. Nothing asking for a screener, no response to emails, etc. Bummer because I really wanted to fly out to support this festival.
