Monmouth Film Festival, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization designed to promote and connect filmmakers from all over the state and country. The festival is more than an opportunity for artists to have their work showcased, it is a forum for educational opportunities through workshops, networking, Q&As and special panels with industry guests; that provide insight, growth and inspiration. Our unique platform strives to create an atmosphere where filmmakers of all levels, including high and low budget works, can be seen, heard and interact with movie-goers, promoters and other artists.

Rules & Terms
THE 2ND ANNUAL MONMOUTH FILM FESTIVAL will take place in Red Bank, NJ from August 11th-13th, 2017.
SUBMISSION DEADLINE - Submissions deadlines are listed under each submission category on FilmFreeway. Early entry is encouraged but in no way guarantees acceptance.
SUBMISSION FORMAT - Films must be submitted via FilmFreeway online screener in order to be properly viewed and judged. Please DO NOT mail submission DvDs of your film.
SUBMISSION ELIGIBILITY - All submissions must have been completed after October 2014. All films must be in English or subtitled in English. Films must not have been commercially screened in the US, or available for video or internet distribution prior to 2nd Annual Monmouth Film Festival.
SUBMISSION FEE - The fees are selected based on category and the deadline.
EXHIBITION - If accepted, short films must be able to provide a digital file of their film (.mov/.mp4). Feature films, in addition to a digital file, may also mail a Blu-Ray for exhibition only if desired.
SUBMITTED NOTIFICATION- Filmmakers will be notified of their film(s) submission status ON or BY the listed notification date on FilmFreeway. If there are any issues or incomplete submissions, you will be notified.
COPYRIGHTS - You are responsible for reserving the rights to any content used in your film.
PROMOTIONS AGREEMENT - You give Monmouth Film Festival Inc. permission for using any of your work exhibited, photographed, locally telecast, and reproduced in part, for marketing or publicity purposes for your film and Monmouth Film Festival.
LIABILITY: Filmmaker, and any and all other parties, shall indemnify and hold Monmouth Film Festival Inc. harmless from and against any and all claims, liabilities, losses, damages, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney's fees and costs of the court) which may be incurred by reason of any claim involving copyright, trademark, credits, publicity, screening, and/or loss of or damage to the screening videos submitted. In particular, filmmaker expressly warrants it has obtained all necessary copyright clearances for original works of authorship used in the film and the filmmaker is solely responsible.
By submitting a film, I freely and voluntarily give and express my full and complete acceptance of all of the terms and provisions set forth in these General Rules and Terms and Conditions. I acknowledge that no oral representations, inducements, promises or assurances of any kind, and no representations, inducements, promises or assurances not set forth in these General Rules or the Terms and Conditions, have been made to me or the Film’s Owners by the Monmouth Film Festival Inc. or any Indemnitee.
