The Miami Short International Cinefest celebrates the the efforts and accomplishments of true underground artists from around the world. The Festival will be held December 22, 2018 in Miami.

The MSIFF is a true independent festival in every sense. Aiming to inspire, motivate and award the true innovative and artistic geniuses of our time. Every independent artist hopes to one day emerge from the underground scene and share their talents with the masses. Hopefully the showcase platform we provide will help facilitate that dream.
We’re excited to display a wide range of works from all genres that will have industry pros, filmmakers and filmgoers buzzing.

Rules & Terms

ELIGIBILITY
All genres are accepted. Foreign language films must be subtitled in English.
Maximum film duration: 40:00 minutes (including credits).
Films with U.S. distribution (obtained prior to being selected for screening) or films produced, financed or initiated by a major film studio or television network are ineligible for competition.
Films may not be publicly available online prior to submission, and winning films may not be made publicly available online until after the awards ceremony.
