Created with love for the independent cinema, London Golden Scout International Film Festival aims to support both emerging and experienced filmmakers, by creating a breeding place for their work to be reviewed and judged and providing access to a larger audience through media artistic events.

After one year of fantastic experiences in the online film environment, our festival is making a huge step forward, by creating the setting for filmmakers to share their best works in the most dynamic city in Europe. Our film screenings will take place in one of the most inspiring locations in the heart of London, Magic Garden in November 2017. Magic Garden is a place where all forms of contemporary art feel at home, where both filmmakers and film enthusiasts gather to discover new forms of expressivity and to exchange thoughts and ideas.

The film competition runs in four quarters, with the next upcoming Official Screening event taking place in November 2017, which will feature the winners of each quarter. London Golden Scout IFF will announce the Official Selection, the Nominees and the Winners for every award one month after the end of each quarter (e.g. The submission window for the Autumn Quarter is open from July 1 to September 30, Announcements on October 31).

Our jury formed of film professionals will review all submitted films from an independent point of view, seeking creativity, vision, innovative ideas, powerful messages and attention to details, with the aim of discovering projects with potential to define the direction of contemporary cinema.

London Golden Scout IFF promotes short and feature films from around the world with 20 awards in 6 categories.

- The Process -

If your film will be officially selected in our festival, you WILL NOT BE REQUIRED to provide uploaded/embeded on work our website. Winning films will be highlighted and promoted within the platform. - Rules & Process -

All genres and formats are considered to be eligible for a nomination or to win one or more of these categories.

Great quality is a standard. Films with a poor production standard (lack of sound quality, absence of subtitles/captions for non-English films, video resolution less than 720p HD) will not be accepted.

The winners of each category will get our official printable Award Certificate.

The ‘Best Picture’ Winner will be awarded with our London Golden Scout IFF Trophy and will get automatically selected for the Official Screening Event that will take place on November 2017 in London.

The final race for ‘Best Picture’ will consist in 6 Nominations, while the ‘Category’/’Individual’ awards will have at least 3 nominations per category.

I would recommend saving $ and submitting elsewhere.

I feel sad that I am even having to do this but must echo the sentiments of the negative comments further down (love to hear more from James Carroll and Robert Cole regarding their experience as it is the polar opposite of ours!).

We submitted our short to this festival and asked for a review during the start of our festival run (we had very little experience at this point). It was exciting to learn we had been "selected" for the November 2017 event. The website/email and communication then inexplicably disappeared (still not up if you check) weeks before the event was due to occur. We heard nothing else despite trying. We are still waiting for the film review and I'm not sure the event even happened! We've taken their festival laurel off our film poster. I tried to give the festival the benefit of the doubt before posting this review but I've still heard nothing back. I notice they are not yet running for 2018, my advice is to be cautious if they do!

This was an amazing experience and a great festival. It was an honor to be selected and to be associated with them.

My short film has been selected into this film festival, but I had received no further information about the festival so I had sent emails but I have got no response. Very disappointed about this situation, especially their website doesn't even exist anymore. I don't mind the outcome of my film nor the rewards, but it is very unprofessional of how they work cause it has wasted my time and energy trying to communicate.
