Film must be between 15 seconds and 7 minutes in length.
Film must be submitted with parental or guardian permission.
Film must be for children of ALL ages (no harsh language or adult themes).
Film must be completed after January 1, 2017.
Film must be completed entirely by the student.
Film can not be in distribution or theatrically released.
All films must be submitted digitally. Films may be used throughout the years at other venues and festivals. Filmmaker will be notified in advance of this, and will have the opportunity to decline the offer(s).
kidvidfest is hereby granted the right to utilize an excerpt from any film submitted and accepted for exhibition at the Festival for promotional purposes.
The individual submitting the film hereby warrants that it is authorized to commit the film for screening, and understands and accepts these requirements and regulations.
The undersigned shall indemnify and hold harmless kidsfilmfest from and against any and all claims, liabilities, losses, damages, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney's fees, and costs of the court) which may be incurred by reason of any claim involving copyright, trademark, credits, publicity, screening, and loss of or damage to the screening videos entered.
