The Justice Film Festival inspires justice seekers by presenting films of unexpected courage and redemption that are diverse in their issues and geography. After stops in Philadelphia, Los Angeles and Chicago the fifth annual Justice Film Festival will return to the Sheen Center for Thought & Culture October 6-8, 2017 in New York City. As always, this year's event will include feature films, documentaries, and shorts from both well-known and emerging filmmakers that shine a light on justice.

Throughout the weekend attendees will have the opportunity to screen new films and interact with filmmakers, producers, non-profit leaders, social entrepreneurs and distributors. All selected films will be invited to attend the event in New York and participate in live talk-backs with the audience after screening their movie. (Travel & accommodations are not included).

Top 5 reasons to submit your film to JFF 2017:
1. Opportunity to screen your film in New York City at the beautiful Loretto Theater in Manhattan.
2. Access to industry leaders in film marketing, publicity and distribution.
3. Feature positioning at Docs/ology, launching this summer, celebrating 'praiseworthy' documentary films.
4. Our mission to promote emerging filmmakers; with an emphasis on women.
5. Selection process which guarantees your film is screened by at least two selection team members, with feedback made available by request (after the festival).

We screened our film DAYLIGHT COME at the Justice Film Festival in 2015. The experience was wonderful. The programmers did a wonderful job of curating a cross section of different topics, with each film illuminating their respective subject in thought provoking and challenging ways. We wouldn't hesitate to bring our next film to the festival and it was an honor to be among such a distinguished slate of films.

The Justice Film Festival is a wonderful opportunity for filmmakers to screen their films in front of a passionate audience that's ready to take action. We were honored to be an official selection and screen "In Plain Sight: Stories of Hope and Freedom" in 2015.

Screening HOMELESS at the Justice Film Festival made for an incredible opportunity to introduce the film to new audiences in New York City. The communication and hospitality by the JFF team was wonderful and we were very excited for the chance to connect and network with the staff at the Sheen Center as well as the panelists and keynote speakers. We are thankful that this festival is shedding light on important topics related to justice and we would be honored to bring our next film to this festival!
