This fest was our German premiere. Location and theater are great & team friendly. Great hospitality with buffet and BBQ under the sun. I was just surprized to realize on the spot that all films were not eligible to the Public Award. Fest program mixes shorts and feature films witch is good. Open masterclasses are organized but only in German. Met with interesting directors, music composers and one producer. Good fest. Would recommend.

A small and friendly Indie let down by poor communication. I had to email multiple times to get essential information about attending, and to fix a problem with the scheduling of my short. Once I was there, the organisers were friendly and helpful, and they did a nice Q&A after the film was shown. But I found Karlsruhe itself very quiet. Networking wasn't great as 'Undergrounf shorts ' programme overran by 1.5 hours and people had transport links to get to, but perhaps if your film is screened earlier, or at the main venue the experience is better...
