HorrorAvenue.net is a Horror News & Entertainment website and The Horror Avenue Film Festival is a new annual event designed to feature a collection of awesome horror films each year!

We are extremely excited to have our 2020 film festival hosted at the Red Roof Inn in DeKalb, IL!! In addition to the best in Independent Horror Films Screening, our venue also has a discounted Room in the same building! We hope that you will come to join us!

Rules & Terms

You must own rights to all of your film material (including music) and/or authorized to submit the works on behalf of the content owner(s). Submitter is solely responsible for any violation / legal actions to this rule.

We require a digital one-sheet / movie poster image & synopsis for promotion of your film if selected.

Festival is open to any film that might be considered a horror film, or anything of a disturbing nature, dark art and/or frightening.

There is NO 'Film Made By' date. We have shown horror films from as early as the 30's. Please feel free to submit your early work as well as your current work.
