★ ★ ★ Official HIFF Hollywood Star laurels for every entrant ★ ★ ★
Headline International Film Festival (HIFF) is a North American festival which aims to advance and shine the spotlight on true independent cinema and the creativity of all the artists, storytellers and collaborators worldwide.
Using a scoring system, all entries are graded so films do not compete against each other, rather entries receiving over a required number of points receive an award. The number of points determines the level of the award.
Our jury selects films to be awarded with golden cine, excellence, merit or honorable mention titles and one winner from each competition category is also selected. Not all winners will be screened at our event, only the jury favorites from our category award winners will be screened.
Our mission is to discover and showcase new and emerging works from around the world and to provide a platform and community where filmmakers can both share and learn from one another.
HIFF's competition and nomination categories caters for the current technologically advanced market. We strive to give filmmakers of every budget a chance to shine in this competitive industry.
