The Factual Animation Film Fuss celebrates animated documentary, the only festival of its kind anywhere. Over 40 films will be screened - animations and mixed media shorts from around the world, including UK and European premieres, as well as a panel discussion and opportunity to meet leaders and peers from the industry.
FAFF 2017 takes place at the Ace Hotel in Shoreditch, London, on Saturday 7th October. Early bird tickets are on sale now at just £6.
Rules & Terms
All films must include animation. All films must be documentary and so concern a factual subject.
Because of the number of entries received, not all entries are chosen to screen during the Festival. A prescreening committee will watch and evaluate each entry to determine which works are selected for screening during the festival.
By submitting your film you hereby give us the right to publicly screen your film.
Submitting your film allows us to use any publicity stills you have provided, as well as stills from your film, for promotion of the festival, and allows us to use up to 30 seconds of your film in trailers and other video promotion.
Your animated documentary does not have to have been made in the last twelve months. We will not allow films screened at FAFF previously.
Non-English language films must be subtitled. Filmmakers must secure all copyright clearances. FAFF will not accept responsibility for any copyright infringement.
