The October European Short Film Festival in Berlin promotes short films done by pioneering filmmakers independently of commercial and political constrains. The variety of short films is significant. The screening location, the historical Babylon cinema in Berlin Mitte, makes the festival a hot event rooted in history and at the same time free of history to initiate a new series of creative visions of art (for photos visit the festival’s facebook)
The Mind § Galaxy team warmly congratulates Claudine's initiative and sustained effort. We are waiting more!

I cannot give a proper review on the quality, hospitality nor the networking of the European Short Film Festival as I was unfortunately unable to physically attend the festival, however, I can confidently give the festival an overall rating of 5 stars with regards to the value of the festival and with regards to the communication the festival provided. My film was actually awarded at the European Short Film Festival which was extremely exciting. To honor this, the festival sent a digital winners certificate via e-mail which was nice. Overall, I recommend the festival based on my own personal experience.

Attending the ESSF in Berlin was another very good festival experience: meeting very nice, inspiring filmmakers and film enthusiasts, watching a cool mix of short films in various genres
getting a lot of respect and very nice treatment from the organisators, who really seem to be film enthusiasts and creative minds themselves. And on top of that, the legendary Babylon Cinema in Berlin as the festival location… !
