The 2017 Dickens Horror Film Festival is back. Fear and Film on the Front Range brings you our second annual contemporary and classic horror films for one night in 2017 (October 21st) at the haunted Dickens Opera House. Along with Films will be the many workshops through out the day illustrating the behind the scene process's such as costume and make up design that effectively suspends our disbelief.
Rules & Terms
Thanks so much for choosing to submit your film to the first annual Dickens Horror Film Festival. We look forward to watching your film and giving it an opportunity to screen in our historic Dickens Opera House in down town longmont. If your film is chosen to be a part of our 2016 Dickens Horror Film Festival we will notify you by October 1st.
We highly encourage you to submit ALL submission materials online through FilmFreeway. If online entry is not possible, please submit 1 Blu Ray preferably or 1 DVD if Blu Ray is not possible. (any region, NTSC encouraged). Please do not include any promotional materials in your submission. We will collect high-resolution photographs of official selection films once they have been accepted into the Festival.
Film entries may be of any subject pertaining to the categories defined, from any country, and of any length. Submitted films should either be in English or include English subtitles. If the film is selected for the Festival, it is the responsibility of the filmmaker to provide the Dickens Horror Film Festival 1 Blu Ray preferably or 1 DVD if Blu Ray is not possible by September 23rd.
If you choose to submit your film by mail you are responsible for all shipping charges to DHFF and for any customs clearances and/or associated fees and taxes. Entry materials will not be returned. All film makers will be added to our mailing list.
