  • My experience was great in the beginning and went downhill from there. Once I was contacted and accepted back in 2015, the communication was fantastic. However, as time went by it lessened. Usually festivals keep you in the loop as to what is happening and assist you in travel, where to stay, etc. if you choose to do go. I was very much looking forward to going to India, enjoying the festival as well as seeing the sights, but that was not meant to be as I never received any help. I found out the festival was postponed at least two times by going onto their FilmFreeway page, not by the festival e-mailing me. I continued to e-mail them for updates and never received any response. According to their FilmFreeway page the festival happened this past Saturday and they never asked for my film. I am beginning to wonder if it even happened. I understand putting a festival together is extremely hard work and requires a substantial amount of time, however, it only takes a few minutes to answer an e-mail and communication is key.
