Cinevana is a part of A Human Space, which is a California 501 (c) not for profit organization, which was created by a group of global artists who want to showcase the best new global films in various media in major cities around the world.

Our festivals are hybrids of live events, which consist of educational and philosophical discussions, screenings, networking and celebrations of cinema. In addition, we want to showcase and promote our filmmakers and writers as much as possible via online avenues and we will be launching a film channel.

Currently, we have events scheduled for in 12 cities around the world, where we want to create a celebration of the artist. In addition, we are striving to create a global network of artists who film at our festivals, who are able to learn from one another, work together and create a global community of independent filmmakers.

Each selected film/screenplay will be promoted via our online platforms and social media. We are also working on both distribution models for our selected films and scholarships to study for our selected screenwriters.

As all of us at Cinevana have been involved in festivals (and even the Academy Awards) where we lost (and sometimes won), we feel like being a competitive festivals takes away the celebratory aspect of what we are doing. We want all of our filmmakers to feel like winners, because they are. We receive thousands of films and are only able to select a small percentage of those films. If your independent short or feature is selected by us (or any other festival) then you are in fact winning. So, our laurels reflect this, for all of our accepted films and we treat everyone exactly the same whether you made a one minute short or a feature length epic.

In addition, we are launching a film festival channel soon, which will highlight our best films.

Finally, we are launching a podcast which will help promote our winning writers and filmmakers.

We are also constantly working to provide more, so please stay tuned.
