Do you have a passion for creative storytelling? Showcase your talent at the Breaking Waves Film Festival, an annual event that features short films from all over the world. The event takes place on picturesque Long Island, Nova Scotia. This quaint fishing village rests within the Bay of Fundy, home of the highest tides in the world. Film submissions must be 2 minutes or under (not including credits).

2.
Each video may be submitted in one category only.
If your film originates outside of Canada it is considered International.

Video content and style is determined solely by the applicant.
All entries will be reviewed by a panel of judges, whose decision will be final.

By submitting to this festival, you agree to allow the organizers of the Breaking Waves Film Festival to use your video, in part or whole, for presentation at the festival, as well as for promotional purposes prior to and after the event. Promotion may include using your video on our Youtube channel, Facebook and other media.
