The Little Muddy Student Showcase of Media Arts is a juried one-off celebration of student work from the School of Media Arts at SIUC. The event takes place at the Guyon Auditorium, SIUC campus, April 12, 2022.

Entries are only accepted from current graduate and undergraduate students in the School of Media Arts at Southern Illinois University Carbondale.

ALL OTHER ENTRIES ARE INELIGIBLE

Students may submit any completed work recorded or documented on video. Videos can include narration, documentary, experimental and hybrid genres. You may also submit sound work, sound art, original-produced music files, music videos, still images, documentation of performances or installations, or any other form you are interested in!

They can be in any genre: documentaries, narratives, experimental and hybrid films, as well as sound work, sound art, original-produced music files, music videos, still images, documentation of performances or installations, or any other form you are interested in, as long as it is documented in video. To include as many works as possible, we advise keeping entries shorter than 15 minutes.

Accepted formats for submission include video exported in H264 as .mov or .mp4, and audio files as mp3. We suggest uploading to VIMEO first and linking to FilmFreeway from there. Or you can upload directly to FilmFreeway. You will need to make free accounts.
When submitting- you will need to enter the password - write slewison@siu.edu or check the email or flyer that you have received.
