The Benedictine University Film Appreciation Club invites student and professional film makers to participate in our inaugural student film festival. In order to comply, entrants submit complete films with running times of 10 minutes or less for our consideration. All submissions will be judged by film professionals and educators who have a knowledge of and respect for creativity, originality, ambition and determination. Winning entries will be screened and prizes will be awarded on Benedictine's campus in Goodwin Hall on April 28th, 2017.

Awards will be given to category winners.

All works submitted must be original pieces and must be submitted on FilmFreeway by our listed deadlines to be eligible to be considered for entry. The following is a list of acceptable delivery file formats:
4K Film Format (4096 pixels x 3112pixels); High DefinitionFormat (1920 pixels x 1080 pixels); Standard Definition (720 pixels x 540 pixels)
Please use on of the following codex. H.264, Apple ProRes, MPEG-4, M4V
DO NOT submit WMV formatted files

    I'm unclear what happened with this festival. A status posted that I was an award winner for my short, but I never received information about the event following submission and all correspondence has gone unanswered.
