Hey Washington State: show us what you've got!

Bellingham Film and Film is Truth are looking for the best cinema Washington State has to offer. You made it -- we want to see it!

Our Showcase is a great opportunity to connect the public with a wide variety of film produced in Washington State. In addition to showing finished products, the showcase also offers filmmakers an opportunity to show trailers for features filmed in Washington State.

We especially encourage submissions from female filmmakers, filmmakers of color and students. At least one regular and one student film from filmmakers based in Whatcom or Skagit County will be included.

Selected filmmakers who attend the showcase have the opportunity to directly connect with their audience -- and score a filmmaker's swag bag -- in this intimate setting on February 18, 2020 at the Pickford Film Center.

Ticket Prices on Feb. 18
$5 for students and Pickford Members
$7 for regular admission

Selected filmmakers will receive free admission to the event and a filmmaker's "swag bag" filled with goodies from local companies in Bellingham. Filmmakers will receive laurels for their selection.

Max length of 20 minutes made since November 2018.

Submission File Format – 1080p or 720p H.264 / AAC Audio (.MOV or MP4 file)
All films must have a Washington State Connection. This could be: All or portions of the film filmed in Washington State or filmed by crews who include individuals from Washington State.

We will also be sharing a limited number of trailers/sizzle reels for longer works.

  • Wasn't able to attend- but as a Washington filmmaker its always cool when your films screen close to home. The communication and festival seemed fantastic and I can't wait to screen more work in the future.
