AGRinCORTO is the first short film festival to be held in Cinisello Balsamo and it organized with the support of the City Municipality. It aims to encourage and promote cultural exchange through the form of expression of video, with no restrictions of categories or genres.
Themes of the festival will be those that best represent identity and history of Cooperativa Agricola, the organization that manages the festival: environment, food, agriculture, work, people, solidarity, art and culture.

The contest has two sections:

A - Theme Section “Il sale della terra” (Salt of the Earth), which allows works regarding environment, ecology, agriculture, labor, economics.

B - A free theme section for charitable associations and schools.

Awards & Prizes

At the incontestable discretion of the Jury, two short films (on for section A, one for section B), which will be distinguished by technical and artistic quality, will receive an award as "Best Short Film AGRinCORTO".
The organizer reserves the right to introduce additional awards or special mentions during the selection of the works.
The prizes are commemorative plaques and prizes worth 400 Euros for the "Salt of the Earth" section and 100 euro for the "Schools and associations" section. A prize of € 100 will be awarded to the best debut film.

Rules & Terms

WORKS ENTITLED TO PARTICIPATE IN THE CONTEST

The call is open to all Italian residents and the short may have been made and produced in any country, in any year and with any technique and style.
The shorts must be in Italian or have Italian subtitles
The works must not exceed the duration of 30 minutes, including opening titles and credits and must not have participated in previous editions of AGRinCORTO.

JURY

The jury will be composed of recognized professionals within the audiovisual industry, which will be announced at the end of the competition.

RIGHTS

The author and / or producer authorize the publication of their online data and its release to the media for promotional purposes, as well as the public screening of the short films in the demonstrations linked to the event, without any claims.
The author and / or the production state that the short film does not infringe the rights of third parties, as expressed by the law 633/1941, as amended (right of author) and has no defamatory contents.
The directors and / or producers of the selected short films authorize the projection of the selected works and circulation (television, internet, cinemas) of no more than 3 minutes of video extracts of the selected works for commercial aims of the event.
The Committee informs that the sent material will not be returned and that all the films submitted for selection of the Festival will become part of the AGRinCORTO archive.
Adherence to participate in the Festival implies full acceptance of this notice.
In possible disputes, not included in these Regulations, the Organizing Committee of AGRinCORTO will be competent.
The Organizing Committee reserves the right to make, if necessary, any changes to these rules without prior notice.

    A very small festival. I had no communication at all. I received an email telling that I was a finalist, and asking me the film High quality file, but they did not mentioned to whom I should send it. After two email with no answer, at least I found someone who answered to a call and told me that only the winner were screened.
