Director Biography - ABEL GARCIA JIMENEZ

my name is abel garcía. i’m graduated from business school at universidad nacional autónoma de méxico [summa cum laude] and i was awarded with the alfonso’s caso medal for my marketing master degree’s paper.

i have worked as political communication and advertising consultant for 20 years. such laboral experience have take me to develop as creative director and audiovisual producer.

in 2010, i won first place on the mexico’s bicentenary national award of visual arts, on the installation category. nevertheless, most of my plastic work happens on several techniques as graphite, engraving, oil, acrylic and digital media [corel, illustrator, photoshop and basic animation software]

besides to be independent consultant, i have devoted my life to art as painter, cultural promoter and, for over 10 years, to my brand and life work: ojolo.
