Director Biography - David Stauffer

David Stauffer is a documentary filmmaker from Sacramento, CA. After college, David got his start doing commercial filmmaking in New York City, eventually winning a Gold Addy award from the American Advertising Association for excellence in commercial film.

David then took his filmmaking to the marketing world where he currently leads the video marketing efforts at a tech start-up in Salt Lake City. In 2014, Utah Business Magazine named David among of the top 10 marketers in the state for his use of video in tech marketing.

David considers his greatest filmmaking influences to be Malik Bendjelloul, Steve James, Errol Morris, Amir Bar-Lev, and Amy Berg.
