Eraina is a European woman born in Morrinsville, New Zealand in 1978 and now resides in the North Shore, Auckland. She has a vibrant creative spirit being new to the film industry but shows huge potential with her inspirational knowledge with life and how this comes across the screen. Eraina was extremely lucky to be raised both in the country and town whilst growing up. She has a unique New Zealand style to her short film/scenes she has created while attending South Seas Film and Television School in 2017 where she received her diploma in Screen Writing and Drama Directing.
Eraina's experiences of life growing up in New Zealand comes across in her writing and moves with cinematic flow onto the screen with absolute sheer natural beauty. Her short film 'Te Akau' leaves an emotional feeling to those who have viewed this. She can produce some great 'drama' and 'dramedy'.
Eraina has also Produced and Directed the footage for a charity boxing event in NZ which she took on as a student and built her own crew in 2017. Also to further her knowledge in the industry Eraina is an extra (actress) for film and television under Fresh Talent (Auckland). Previously crew for South Pacific Pictures as Unit Coordinator for Shortland Street 2020/21. She has also worked on live television shows such as 'Dancing With The Stars NZ' and 'What Now'. Currently working as a Director for the live broadcast of Trackside - Entain NZ since 2021.
Eraina continues to be active in the industry whether it be television and/or film. Eraina is currently writing the full feature version of 'Te Akau'.
