Eraina is a European woman born in Morrinsville, New Zealand in 1978 and now resides in the North Shore, Auckland. She has a younger than her age, vibrant creative spirit being new to the film industry but shows huge potential with her inspirational knowledge with life and how this comes across the screen. Eraina was extremely lucky to be raised both in the country and town whilst growing up. She has a unique New Zealand style to her short film/scenes she has created while attending South Seas Film and Television School in 2017 where she received her diploma in Screen Writing and Drama Directing.
From the young age of 17 she became involved in a life of parties, partner abuse and found herself surrounded by a very dark lifestyle. She managed to pick herself up by the age of 35 and raise her 3 beautiful children who are now 15, 16 and 21 this year. Eraina's experiences of life growing up in New Zealand comes across in her writing and moves with cinematic flow onto the screen with absolute sheer natural beauty. Her stories will be talked about for a long time and films that will be remembered due to the heartfelt nature. She can produce some great 'drama' and 'dramedy'.
Eraina has also Produced and Directed the footage for a charity boxing event in NZ which she took on as a student and built her own crew in 2017. Also to further her knowledge in the industry Eraina is an extra (actress) for film and television under Fresh Talent (Auckland). Previously crew for South Pacific Pictures as Unit Coordinator for Shortland Street 2020/21. She has also worked on live television shows such as 'Dancing With The Stars NZ' and 'What Now'. Currently working as a Director for the live broadcast of Trackside - Entain NZENT 2021.
Eraina will go far in the industry as she portrays real life with a new understanding.
