Emilio Vazquez Reyes is a Mexican-American film director, screenwriter, and producer based in Dallas, Texas, and Los Angeles, California.
At 16, emilio directed his debut short film Honeybee, which won awards and was officially selected for numerous international and Oscar-qualifying film festivals such as SXSW Film Festival, san Fransisco International Film Festival, and BFI future film festival. Subsequently, he co-founded Goretti pictures, a photography studio and independent film production company.
He is a second-year film student at UCLA school of theater, film, and television. Here, he is involved in numerous clubs and organizations such as FAST at UCLA and Cherry Pop Records.
Currently, he is in post-production for his next narrative short film, toy planes don't Crash, with the help of producers Blaine Stricklin and slamdance-winner David Velez.
