"Emergence" is a one night mini-festival of short films, all created by emerging filmmakers. The films have each been hand selected for their unique approach. Elements like emotive original dialogue, innovative cinematography, haunting musical scores, beautiful and visceral movement, and intelligent story will capture your imagination throughout the evening.

This is also a premiere screening of dance film "Bloom", winner of the community initiatives award from the City of Austin Cultural Arts Division and the Q Rental Subsidy Grant from The Creative Fund. Come join us for this one time event!

Accepted filmmakers receive free entry to the event and are encouraged to attend as a brief Q&A will follow the screening.
