My name is Emanuel Schulman, and I am a Brazilian filmmaker from Curitiba, born in 2004. Encouraged by my mother, I spent most of my teenage years producing independent movies with my friends. In 2021, aged 16, I wrote and directed my first professional short film, "The Persistence of Memory", produced by Moro Filmes.
In the following year, I was accepted as a film student in New York University's Tisch School of the Arts and Fundação Armando Álvares Penteado’s School of Marketing and Communication, where I am currently a sophomore. As part of my schoolwork, in 2023, I developed two other short films, "Embaixo da Árvore" (Under that Tree), which I directed, and "Quem Sabe?", which I wrote.
