Elianel Clinton is a photographer and director based in New Jersey, where he was born and raised. He earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography and the Digital Image, with a minor in Art History, from the Fashion Institute of Technology in 2018. His work explores themes of identity, culture, and diversity, drawing deeply from his own multicultural background and life experiences. Elianel’s artistic vision is rooted in his commitment to exploring how personal narratives intersect with broader social issues, creating a space for marginalized voices to be heard and represented.
Over the years, Eli has collaborated with a diverse range of high-profile clients, including The New York Times, The Washington Post, Converse, Coach, BuzzFeed, The Wall Street Journal, Kid Super, Theophilio, and Avant Arte. His photography has been featured in prominent publications such as i-D, Teen Vogue, Vogue Italia, W Magazine, Essence Magazine, Billboard Magazine and Rolling Stone Magazine. Eli's work has also been showcased in several notable exhibitions, including the Converse All-Star Pop-Up solo show, the Rockefeller Center Flag Project in partnership with Aperture, the Palm Photo Prize, Save Art Space's Whistling in the Dark, Culture Lab LIC's Pride Month, and Photoville. In addition to his commercial and editorial work, Eli is dedicated to fostering community and inclusion within the art world, constantly seeking new ways to engage audiences and tell powerful, untold stories.
